What Is it?
The UNL Cancer Shield 2.0, Specified Disease Insurance, is a new and improved version of the original. In addition to paying lump sum (if Express Pay rider is purchased) and scheduled cash benefits directly to you upon cancer diagnosis, the new version also covers experimental treatments and provides wellness benefits to the insured. The Cancer Shield 2.0 provides peace of mind knowing you have assistance in avoiding out-of-pocket expenses and helping supplement lost income so you can focus on your recovery.
How It Works
Three plans are available with a variety of benefits levels. You have the freedom to use the cash benefits in any way you chose. All plans are guaranteed renewable for life. Three riders are available to enhance your coverage (some riders may not be available in all states):
